Because I am tragically behind in my blogging, I will take Shawna's approach to the summer post and make mine equally as brief!
Summer was great! We spent a good month in California hanging with the family. Shawna was on summer break, as were the kids, so we had lots of bonding time. Perhaps even a little too much, if that is at all possible :)
Bryan was a champ and commuted to San Diego whenever he could. It was a lot of extra traveling for him, but Brooklyn and I appreciated his willingness to give us this summer with the family. I do realize that all summers cant be as lazy and careless as this one was, but we definitely enjoyed it while it lasted.

Yes, I wish I could have a summer with all my immediate family and my own brothers and sisters. If I was rich, I would arrange it. I am glad that you all work so hard to keep connected and I am glad that Bryan is so accomodating. Life is too short to not take advantage of every opportunity even if it is a little slim.
